People can say beautiful things in isolated moments. Relationships are lived in patterns.
If reassurance appears only after disappointment, or effort arrives only when distance becomes noticeable, the pattern is still information.
Look at what repeats.
Consistency does not mean perfection. It means the overall shape of someone’s behavior is dependable enough that you are not constantly translating it.
Sometimes clarity is not a sentence someone gives you. It is what their pattern has been saying all along.
